Concept:
Drawing inspiration from modern eclectic design with retro accents, this 2 level loft style apartment has so much character and history. With that in mind, I drew inspiration from recycled timbers which add warmth texture and a rugged feel. Using earth tones such as rust, coral and complimentary greens imbue a retro accent.
Insert bold artworks from Anthony Lister juxtaposed with Showtime vases by bd Barcelona contribute whimsy and sense of fun. Lighting from Micheal Anastasiades and Lignet Roset create ambience or spot-lighting whatever suits the mood.
Stylish, sleek and sophisticated furniture ranging from MDF Italia, Maroso and Jardan can elevate any space. Leaving the ceiling, exposed beams and columns as is pay its respect to its industrial heritage remindful of its past. All this is encased in exposed brick wall which exudes rawness of the overall composition.
