Concept:

Inspired by Scandinavian design, the renovation provided a spacious living space with special consideration of the existing plumbing. Warm natural lighting fills the space which is a combination of open plan living as well as a clever acoustics partitioning in the kitchen and bedroom for a good night's sleep.

The client works from home and spends a lot of time entertaining so an effective layout was needed.  The carpet was removed and replaced with FSC grade timber floorboards to add texture and warmth. Custom joinery was created as the main focus of the lounge room.  A streamlined custom kitchen joinery was designed for minimal living using classic whites and greys to brighten the space.

The bedroom windows were redesigned to maximise natural light. A large window was designed in the study for a place of repose, a place to contemplate and think. Bathroom amenities with slate tiles and large bathtub from Artedomus.
