Concept :
Creating an artistic retreat, I drew inspiration from my clients' hobbies and incorporated hubs for activities they both enjoy giving them a sense of variety. The study is a writing hub that sits in front of a bay window overlooking water views. Walls were accentuated by artwork from a collection amassed by the couple over the years of living together.
The bedroom which inspires travelling was created using a mixture of African inspired antiques with contemporary furnishings giving the space a modern safari-esque touch.
The lounge room was designed as a hub for music and photography. This was a client favourite as this room was envisioned for the clients' to gather together, unwind, entertain and be reminded of the places both have visited, while framed pictures of their loved ones adorn the walls.
A home would not be complete without a hub for cooking. a Smeg oven was used as this was the clients' preference giving the kitchen a focal point. Complementary Smeg appliances were added for strong, bold accents of colour. A seamless stainless steel bespoke storage space, cabinetry and island add a touch of cool, a gleam of sophistication.
